STEP 1

Step 1 Reqirements and Training Opportunities
Minimum Entry Requirements
(i.e. licensing requirements of up to 12 clock hours)
(centers=12, family/group homes=10, asst in group home=5)
Early Care and Education Professionals at a S.T.E.P.  1 level are those professionals who have attained the minimum entry requirements for their setting. 

This includes licensing requirements

  • For centers-12 clock hours
  • For family/group homes-10 clock hours
  • For assistants in group homes-5 clock hours
